Updates on the Hwy 20 Hamby/Ward Roundabout:
Construction of the roundabout is underway. The contractor has closed Hamby Road at U.S. 20 until April 8. Ward Road at U.S. 20 will be closed starting Tuesday morning on March 22 through April 26. Please use alternate routes during these closures; detour routes will be posted on site.
US 20: Ward-Hamby Road Intersection Project (Bend Area) – Starting on February 15, a road closure on Hamby Road will be occurring as part of the ODOT US 20 Ward/Hamby roundabout project. Hamby Road will be closed to through-traffic between US 20 and Neff Road from approximately February 15 through March 1. A designated detour route is in place via US 20, Erickson Road and Neff Road.

ODOT will construct a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of U.S. 20 and Ward/Hamby roads. No project work this week due to inclement weather.

Construction of the Ward/Hamby roundabout on U.S. 20 east of Bend is now under way, though earthwork will likely begin in the spring.
