The City of Bend Engineering Department is hosting an open house on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 6 pm to discuss some of the concepts regarding a Neighborhood Street Safety Program (NSSP) project for NE Tucson Way between Conners and Neff.
Neighbors have been expressing concerns about traffic control and safety on this stretch of road and the city is beginning the design work for inclusion of the project in the 2027 NSSP with construction planned for the summer of 2027.
The open house will be held at the Real Life Christian Church at 2880 NE 27th (between Wells Acres and Faith Dr.) at 6 pm on March 19th. If you are interested in traffic control and safety in this part of the Mountain View Neighborhood District, please come to the open house to provide your comments and feedback on the city-developed concepts and design.
